For libertarians, maintaining a criminal justice system, of which the police are a major component, is viewed as one of the few legitimate roles of government.

Sinister black uniforms were supposed to make the police look more authoritative or scary looking, but it doesn't seem to be working, with more of them being assaulted and even killed. People are starting to think that police are afraid to deal with anyone who is not a white person. They certainly haven't attracted much respect since Covid. Who ever thought that they would be firing rubber bullets at Australians, in Australia!

As with all ‘authorities’ in Australia, police are part of an increasing authoritarianism that voters are too lazy or too disinterested to do anything about. Just keep on voting Liberal/Green Labor for more of it, you fools.

This is the part of the missing equation as what can the individual do which might actually have a meaningful democratic outcome.

What we are presented with is a Coles and Woolworths V Aldi. (Pauline Hanson or the Greens).

I genuinely resent a system that persecutes me for wishing to be ignored by those who, through manipulation of power, force upon me their toxic ideology.

Voting with a bullet has more enduring outcomes! That is historical fact.

When I see the left wing radicals machine gunned in the street, I’ll begin to take interest !

DD,

"Voting with a bullet has more enduring outcomes! That is historical fact."

Such a call on a public forum should land you in hot water.

Bonger 1405.

If blind Freddy can work this out, why can’t you?

Here is a question: If thousands die from a bullet in war, and believing that the outcome from that event culminates in a positive winning side in a contest, where is the problem in believing that outcome to be true?

It’s not wrong a State for good example, goes to war in defence of a certain established status quo put under threat by an outside attacker.

I think yours are crocodile tears .
