You'd likely receive more criticism from your own people protecting someone whose considered anti-Semitic that it wouldn't be worth the trouble or the risk, though specifically being labelled anti-Semitic is not entirely the full story with me.
I criticise many things often.

Yes it is a total mess.

Frustrated Israelis may feel tempted to blow every living being in Gaza and the West-Bank so that their nightmare will be over, but it will not be over because once the Islamic Hamas is eradicated, they will have to face the Jewish Hamas from within, and they won't be any nicer.

If I had such a button, then I would be tempted to use it to blow up Netanyahu and his government instead - that is how I feel, but I won't, I practice non-violence, though I would be glad if someone else pressed that button on them.
