What a completely screwed up country we've become.
The political 'lesser evil choice' has never been worse.

- Stand with genocide supporters or
- Stand with those championing gender reassignment surgery for kids and transgender toilets, unrestricted immigration and an indigenous shadow government.

And both sides stand with the US who is looking to start a world war.
Sadly, democracy has reached it's best-before date I think.

I might even add that even more screwed up is that you have an apartheid state run by manics engaged in a policy of ethnic cleansing, the leader of the country is wanted by the International Criminal Court for deliberate killing of women, kids and journalists, and some f-wits only concern is Jewish people copping a little pushback.

They wish to spend australian taxpayers money to support genocidal lunatics.

We need Jews to be uneasy and fighting at their own dining tables so that they put pressure on Netanyahu, otherwise is the rest of the nations citizens fighting at their dinner tables.

If they don't like the criticism, then they should stop turning a blind eye, or a supportive eye to the actions of the terrorist government that claims to represent their interests.

The whole concept of 'anti-semitism' is simply to stifle legitimate criticism, we already have laws against acts of violence.
'Anti-Semistism is 'null and void' and a contradiction of the highest order when half the country genuinely support torture, rape, murder, ethnic cleansing and land theft, right in the middle of a genocide, and which is confirmed by the planets highest court.

Royal commissions are expensive, time consuming, drawn out and often inconclusive. Yet, there seems to be no end to the squeals to establish the things by people who generally do a lot of squealing and not much else.

A RC is probably not going to occur, but if it did, what difference would it make? No difference to universities that are run by the hard Left and immature, ratbag students.

There are laws against hate speech now that will never be enforced. But, you go ahead and call for more taxpayer money to be wasted, Sara Henderson. Try to make yourself relevant.

As for Royal Commissions themselves, the author says that they are “seen to be independent”. Seen by whom, I wonder, because the idea of independence - denying that those involved won't be injecting their personal beliefs and ideas, is bollocks.

All we have here is another useless, self-serving politician trying to get attention and keep her job. She would be much better employed getting the government - and her own party - to enforce the hate speech laws already in place.

Dear Critic,

Just that you do not understand me wrongly, it is not that I support a royal commission - I don't and that is because I am against both coercion and increased government expenses.

You should also know by now that I abhor Netanyahu and his government which includes real Nazis.

Nevertheless, your statement that «We need Jews to be uneasy» is very concerning.

It is beyond me why you believe that some people who just try to live their lives peacefully, should be made to feel uneasy and responsible for the acts of a government they did not elect, in another country where they are not even eligible to vote!

You should also be careful to check the facts rather than just cut and paste from other sources:

«half the country genuinely support torture, rape, murder, ethnic cleansing and land theft»

Agreed that just under half the country supports land theft. That is despicable enough by itself.
Among them, perhaps about 33% support ethnic cleansing - disgusting indeed but that is not half the population.
Only a smaller minority, perhaps 12-14% support torture and murder.
And practically nobody in Israel supports rape. Observant Jewish men would not even feel comfortable at the thought of touching a non-Jewish woman with their little finger. Who possibly inserted inserted this word there and why? Just because it rhymes?

Quoting blindly diminishes your credibility.

No need for a royal commission, I can tell you now what its conclusion
would be;
That antisemitism is a result of obeying Allah's statements in the
Koran. Many versus call for the death of Jews and while they are at it
they can kill all those infidels who will not submit to Islam.

Hi Yuyutsu,

'concerning'.

Israel is over there committing a genocide.
I could say 'Those people really need to get their own house in order'.
But instead, it's implied that Australia's house is not in order and that laws should be passed to potentially prosecute Australian citizens like me.

I find that concerning.

Regarding Israel / Palestine.
I'm thinking about a new solution.
This curent one that goes on and on for over a century is no good.
e need new thinking.

I propose we blockade the whole of Israel / Palestine (to prevent anyone else intervening) and what we should do is firstly take away all the firearms, tanks, bombs, munitions etc.

I want to bring every one back to clubs and stones.
I think we should have a battle royale where 7 million Palestinians fight to the death with the 7 million Israelis, and the winner gets to take all.
But before we have the battle, we first have a vote.
People on both sides have a choice - they can choose to leave peacefully or stay and fight for their side.
If more people wish to leave (choosing peace not war) than wish to fight, then the battle royale is called off and both sides have to make peace, but if more people wish to stay and fight than leave , then we let them go for it.

Fight to the death on equal terms - a fair fight winner take all.
If you are so full of hate that you want to kill the other sides kids, then you have to get your hands dirty and do it with a stone or club?
What do you think?
Should knives be allowed?

Dear Critic,

«laws should be passed to potentially prosecute Australian citizens like me.»

If they try to prosecute you then I will hide you in my home...
Nay, they can find my address through forcing Graham Young to produce my details, but I could still find you some other hiding place.

«Regarding Israel / Palestine.»

The very use of the name "Palestine" is provocative, it is a Roman insult which humiliates Israelis and that was probably a significant factor for the continued conflict.

«we should do is firstly take away all the firearms, tanks, bombs, munitions etc.»

This is just what Israel tries to do in Gaza... and it already takes it 11 months with only partial success.

«If more people wish to leave»

The ones leaving already, and the ones who will leave when you make your proposition, are the peace-loving, they are the ones forced to go into exile and they are the ones that you will surely welcome in Australia as refugees. They are the chickens if you like - those remaining are the cocks on testosterone who are intent on killing each other.

"If they try to prosecute you then I will hide you in my home..."
- Thanks for your concern of my welfare.

Of course I don't really want both sides to be killing each other,
And I don't really want you or anyone in this country concerned for their safefy.
It's just a total mess Yuyutsu.
I hope your family remain safe.

Hi Yuyutsu,
You'd likely receive more criticism from your own people protecting someone whose considered anti-Semitic that it wouldn't be worth the trouble or the risk, though specifically being labelled anti-Semitic is not entirely the full story with me.
I criticise many things often.

I've always said that I'm actually against stupid ideas.

http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/israeli-podcast-hosts-call-erase-every-living-being-gaza-and-west-bank

>>A clip from an English-language Israeli podcast showing hosts Naor Meningher and Eytan Weinstein discussing the idea of eradicating all Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Gaza has gone viral online.

In an episode of Two Nice Jewish Boys, which aired three weeks ago, host Weinstein said: “If you gave me a button to just erase Gaza, every single living being in Gaza would no longer be living tomorrow. I would press it in a second.”

He claimed that “most Israelis” would do the same.

Meningher added that they would also want to wipe out Palestinians in “the territories”.

“Because that’s the reality we live in, it’s us or them, and it has to be them,” Weinstein said.

He added that Israelis want “full-scale war”.

“Full-scale war wouldn’t mean that we’re just in Gaza,” he added. “And it also wouldn’t mean what we’re doing in Gaza, because in Gaza, maybe there’s mass destruction but there's not massive death.”

“Forgive us if we don’t give a shite if everybody there dies. It’s just the way we feel. It’s just the way Israelis feel,” Weinstein said.<<

- I wonder if the Palestinians who join Hamas also think it's an 'us or them' scenario?
Sad state of affairs all around.

Dear Critic,

Yes it is a total mess.

Frustrated Israelis may feel tempted to blow every living being in Gaza and the West-Bank so that their nightmare will be over, but it will not be over because once the Islamic Hamas is eradicated, they will have to face the Jewish Hamas from within, and they won't be any nicer.

The real war is only beginning - http://www.timesofisrael.com/woman-jailed-overnight-after-allegedly-throwing-sand-at-ben-gvir-on-tel-aviv-beach/

If I had such a button, then I would be tempted to use it to blow up Netanyahu and his government instead - that is how I feel, but I won't, I practice non-violence, though I would be glad if someone else pressed that button on them.
