Albanese finishes the year at the Lodge, will he finish 2024 there? : Comments

By Dinesh Malhotra, published 29/12/2023

And the Prime Minister, spent the first 18 months globe-trotting and at home campaigning for the Voice referendum, seemingly running the parliament in his spare time.

“Surprised”. More like shocked that such a dope who had spent 20 years in Parliament, never distinguishing himself, never shown anyone signs of leadership qualities, was now head of a 32% government. And, he is even worse than expected.

Albanese is certainly not the “right fit”; he is a misfit.

Australia's politicians have all been awful since John Howard, but Albanese takes the cake.

Albanese's handling of the Voice sums up his leadership: Announce a situation of great urgency demanding immediate action and reform, spend a heap of money and cause a lot of division and heated argument, all to no effect. He then blames others for the failure and moves on to his next crusade. I think he frequently travels OS so he doesn't have to face his mounting failures and can maintain his delusions of being a statesman. It's nothing personal. It's the damage he is doing to Australia with his halfwitted leadership.

The latest Newspoll has the primary vote for Albanese ALP down to 27%. No wonder : life has got so much harder for everyone since this idiot (or is he just plain evil) and his gang got in with a mere 32% of the vote.

ttbn,

I think Albo well intentioned. What I see as his main character flaw is his inability to acknowledge his failures, which is why I refer to him as a cult leader. I hope that the coalition go hard on energy policy as I cannot see Labor as capable of averting a power crisis with the pursuit of renewable energy.

I can't see any good in Albanese. I would be surprised if the average Labor voter could, either. Albanese is dragging down the ALP itself. When the party can get only 32% of the primary vote in the first place, and Albanese has dragged it down to 27%, Labor is in big trouble; as we all are, given the present state of the Coalition.

We are bereft of leadership. I think we are at a stage when, similar to the 1930s, people might start looking for a 'strong' leader. And, we know where that can lead.
