Albanese finishes the year at the Lodge, will he finish 2024 there? : Comments

By Dinesh Malhotra, published 29/12/2023

And the Prime Minister, spent the first 18 months globe-trotting and at home campaigning for the Voice referendum, seemingly running the parliament in his spare time.

I believe the people have had a gutful.

He looks like he is begging for a diplomatic position.

His days are numbered and few if any of the TEALS will support him in the interest of retaining their seats.

I'm picking Dutton who supports nuclear power (cheap power) could win enough seats to win government.

Heir apparent? Bill Shorten for mine as authentic!

When a commentator, in the 1st 6 paragraphs, seizes upon and criticises the PM's overseas trips rather than acknowledge the importance of said trips (i.e. fixing the mess and re-establishing relationships which the previous government left in its wake) or not mentioning that previous coalition PM's have traveled just as extensively in the same time period, one instantly recognises that one is reading the bleating of a rusted on party apologist. Therefore, we know that nothing remotely achieving objectivity in whatever comes next can possibly happen. Best then to save my time and stop reading any further.

These partisan hack pieces are getting tiresome.

Albanese's travel is on par with Morrison and Abbott yet there was not such criticisms of them. The opposition started the Airbus jibe after only 5 weeks of Albanese in government and useful lapdogs like this author are running with it regardless of whether it is legitimate.

We really are living in a post truth world now aren't we.

Although Albanese is not PM material, he is not to blame for the bureaucratic mess many leftist Public Servants cause. They outnumber the decent civil servants who are up against their incompetent & self-centred colleagues. As I keep pointing out, it’s all down to mentality ! Dutton will have to sort out the Public Servants who are not performing & we can be assured the Unions will put up one hell of a fight to maintain the Peter Principle style nepotism that is the crux of this mess.

The whole government mess is proving about as useful as an udder on a bull, but lefty mouth piece SR can only defend air buses habit of floating around the skys, playing at leader at great expense. Hell the man even looks bad in his photo ops.

Lust perhaps he can stay in power by importing hundreds of thousands of undesirables to shore up his vote, he won't have anything good to show for all his flying.

God help our grand kids with this lot of ratbags driving the ship.

Let’s observe how a future US Trump Government achieves a permanent right wing dictatorship, and with some luck, we in Australia can find a way to follow suit.
