Given that there are virtually zero locally-acquired Covid-19 cases, the unvaccinated would include many aged under 60 prepared to risk catching the virus, particularly as experience shows that they would be more mildly affected, and recover faster, than older people.

What you really mean is that they're indifferent to spreading the virus !

From my reading individual the vaccine currently being used will not stop people getting the virus, although it is supposed to reduce the severity of the infection.

It also appears that those who get the virus after inoculation, will still probably be ineffective to others. When authorities say probably in this instance you know damn well it definitely will be.

About as useful as tits on a bull comes to mind, but of course it has made some very rich folk even richer, so not entirely useless.
