It has puzzled and alarmed the inventor of the World Wide Web, Tim Berners-Lee for 'breaching a fundamental principle of the web by requiring payment for linking between certain content online'.

I must be missing something given the cry babies towards FB.

I did not really know FB was undermining our lives.

I like Facebook. It saves me a lot of time looking at issues when the source comes to me, and then I can inquire further on the actual site.

But I am all for appropriate legislation, and would be concerned if the benefit mainly went to a few major players.

I just laugh at the ruthless corporation tag, and the assumption it is destroying our democratic lives.

Yup, cause doing something real like imposing an unavoidable 15% flat tax. Would have hurt too many of the coalition's tax-avoiding friends?

Besides, they almost to a generic tickerless man would need to grow a spine! And a genuine sense of morality
