Alan B,
How do you manage not to see what's going on ? Haven't you learned yet that the more the Westerners get educated/dumbed down the more vogue compassion they feel & the more they feed the mouths that bite their hands ? Posted by individual, Saturday, 2 January 2021 7:54:25 AM

Galen. you as usual massively exaggerate. Bit cold in St Petersburg today, is it?
My advocacy for nuclear weapons has been small tactical and to make border-hopping a thing of the past. And I'd use them o concentrations of border hopping Taliban to ensure they and their heinous stone-age culture, were as much as possible, eliminated from the face of the earth. I'd get no pleasure from this act, which I see as removing a malignant tumour with surgical precision. Nothing more! Our own crazies need to be sent somewhere where the only victims they can harm are each other, ever! I see no claimed hypocrisy in either of those two positions! But massive disingenuous mendacity in your qualifications of my stated position. Tactical nuclear weapons have a kill zone about a mile wide and ideal for closing borders to border-hopping evil personified, Murders and Rapists/Taliban. It would not be the first time we have used nuclear weapons and justified as the lesser of two evils and overall massively reduced loss of life! A position I don't resile from! Particularly now the Russians have placed a bounty on every US soldiers head in Afghanistan, collectible for the Taliban! Alan B. Posted by Alan B., Saturday, 2 January 2021 10:38:44 AM

Are all nuclear weapons of the mass destruction type ? Couldn't we have small ones just to get troublesome elements out of circulation ?

Hiya Alan B.
Where you write "or nutters like Bryan, who shot up a Hobart restaurant". I've consulted the best gerontoligists and nuclear chemists in the land who advise: "Time for your post-dotage spoonful of Thorium, skipper." Your false memory pertains to one Martin BryanT http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Bryant who murdered 35 people and injured 23 others in PORT ARTHUR Tasmania, on 28-29 April 1996. He is concurrently serving 35 life sentences, plus 1,035 years. Becoming famous on this OLO thread clearly has some costs in accuracy whatever your good intentions. Hi Pete,
Well, you're both right: http://portarthur.org.au/dining/1830-restaurant-and-bar/ From memory, many if not most of the innocent victims of that bastard were shot in the restaurant. I hope he lives a very, very long life. Joe Posted by loudmouth2, Saturday, 2 January 2021 4:53:56 PM

Talk about hypocrisy, “We can always send/ship the crazies to Devil's Island or similar exile? Can't we? Then let them loose on each other !? Appropriate or what?”
This from the man who has numerous times strongly advocated for the ‘nuking’ of various nations or peoples whose ideology Alan doesn’t agree with...go figure, under international law this is called a crime against humanity and a war crime,
Make up your confused little mind Alan, you can’t have it both ways.
I know your ilk Alan...can you please send OLO a postcard when you get to Devils Island, thanks
Galen
