By Daniel Raynolds, published 31/12/2020

Macron moves in the wrong direction by dissolving NGOs, increasing surveillance of protestors and decreasing the ability of citizens to monitor the police.

The author studiously fails to mention the event http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Samuel_Paty

that triggered this reaction of the French Government.

Macron has at last been made to face Islamic terrorism straight up.
He like many western politicians have been very soft on actions by
the Islamist activists. Many are unaware that there is an average of
two attacks on Churches in France every day.
In Sweden there was up to about October over 200 explosions. The
majority in Malmo a Muslim no go area.
In France despite the killings over the last few years Macron was
very mealy mouthed about criticising Muslims.
They were quite strong on Islamophobia however and in Britain the
thought police are quite active if anyone who made Islamophobic remarks.

That the police in the UK were held back from going after the
Islamic rape gangs said it all. It took a newspaper campaign to get
the police to move on them.
It is utter rubbish to even suggest that Islamophobia about
discrimination against muslims.

Alan you are a fool. You are never interested in discussing things reasonably, merely chucking insults around.

I an a great believer in human rights, but for every one, not the selected few as always pushed by activists. I'd certainly vote for citizen initiated referendum, but you would never know anything about most as you are only interested in chucking insults, from your chip on the shoulder disposition.

Time to try to grow up a bit boy.

I wasn't insulting anyone, Hasbeen, just using irony to make some valid points. As for abuse that's is your forte first up and often!

Like trump lovers, I see you and he as kindred spirits? And I doubt you will be all that surprised when the investigators prove to the world, he is little more than a cunning crime boss with his cohort of crazies around him, clearly trying to steal an election.

The republicans are famous now for their gerrymanders and voter suppression? Guess you see that as ok too?

As for me no amount of BS or barely disguised personal abuse will prevent me from calling it out or as I see it!

Inaccurate labelling as a chip on shoulder won't cut it or make true, however, that'll never succeed or prevent me from calling it out as I see it! And with vigour and robust advocacy! You can try to turn my passion for natural justice into a chip on shoulder? To reiterate, that BS label will never make it true!

Good to know you like a citizen's initiated referendum.

Something I'm also in favour of, smaller government, genuine tax reform, and bill of irrevocable human rights! My tax reform (a flat tax of 15%) would eliminate the middleman parasites and put that tax compliance money back in the hands of those who've earned it.

Moreover, with the tax compliance money not removed, that money or an average 7% returned to the bottom line, the effective adjusted tax rate would be 8%!

So I suspect we're not that far apart, just I just don't do the exploitation of others as well or the BS or the Trump-like, me, me, me.

Anyhow, have a happy holiday, go do something you like and let's just agree to disagree agreeably. It'll probably be far more productive of our limited remaining time here?

Individual.

Human rights must be for all! And the inhumane must be called to account for what they own! Whenever, wherever possible!

No BS argument can be allowed to prevent either outcome, given we have any ability to affect either, either outcomes, have some effective sway, with what we have!

Denying irrevocable human rights to the many on account of, a few inhumane might get the same? SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO STAND IN THE WAY OR OR PREVENT NATURAL JUSTICE! Nor BS argument!
