Think tankers against China: the Australian Strategic Policy Institute : Comments

By Binoy Kampmark, published 9/12/2020

This is not to say that the Victoria-BRI deal is not problematic. It was made with China's National Development and Reform Commission, the entity responsible for the 'social credit' system.

Well there you go. Binoy says the China is not our foe, therefore we can relax. Balls! And he cites Geoff Raby. More balls! Then it’s Menadue - and Labor Senator Carr. No bias here, then! And, of course, the Liberal Senator Henderson’s truth about the Chinese Communist Party’s BRI is “crude”

Think, all this deep freeze BS could be well and truly behind us if we had chosen to treat this communist dictatorship as if it were a reviled totalitarian state with even less merit than the pr-war nazi party!

There are just a few things we can and must do with extreme alacrity. the first being to buy several nuclear-powered subs with an arsenal of nuclear missiles.

Naval ratings who want to fast track promotion should volunteer to man them and accept fast-track training. So when the delivery is made they're competent and up to speed on all aspects of operation and safety/weapons deployment!

We need to stop (there are none so blind) sleepwalking to our future role as peasants and tenants in our own land and set ourselves up for total self-dependence. And as a nation-state open or business with all nations that want to buy our produce and trade goods.

And we need to retrospectively undo some of the deals and arrangements already made.

Then set up some new parameters for foreign students! So as to avoid allowing aggressive activists/mouthpieces for the CCP to infest our campuses with their arrogance and anti-democracy views.

We also need energy policy, middleman, tax and water use reform, with the sole aim to maximise the recovery and our maximised self-sufficiency in all aspects.

And I've already covered this and provided the economic recipe on earlier OLO!

This outcome with China was not unforeseen, just ignored by those we entrusted to led the nation! And now seem to be chained by their earlier financial and personal investment decisions to the path we're on and many will die in a ditch before allowing absolutely essential reform as briefly outlined to proceed! Or are compromised by very severe cases of Sargent Schultz's Syndrome

And when all the above is done, China can GFH!

Binoy mounts an unconvincing apologia for China's aggressive foreign policy.

Maybe a Binoy job application to ASPI may have been knocked back.

As a soft left academic Binoy orgasms gets his jollies using the C-word "CIA".

The CIA just happens to employ 1,000s of intelligence analysis PhDs and is a respectable organisation assessing Binoy's China.

More see http://www.cia.gov/library including http://www.cia.gov/library/publications/resources/the-world-factbook/geos/ch.html

1. The CIA's "World Factbook" http://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/ is

excellent reading. Binoy might learn something by looking up the China entry.

2. People in the Australian Government read many sources including ASPI, Lowy Institute, http://gentleseas.blogspot.com.au/ overseas sources and even Worthy Academic Journals (WAJs). They have to weigh up the evidence.

3. Meanwhile Binoy's paid WAJ limited writing involves "standing on the shoulders of fellow inbreeding academic giants".

4. "Giants" MAY mean Binoy's Professor, Head of Department, that Binoy is trying to impress.

What is it with these far-left whingers that they feel the need to suck up to fascist dictatorships?

Set up by John Howard and funded by the Defence Department; by US, British, Japanese and Taiwanese governments; by NATO; by global weapons makers like Thales, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin, this think tank is obviously going to talk up our defence threats and then advise our government to spend up big on military hardware provided by its funders. No surprises here, but good work, Binoy, in raising awareness.
