But then what would happen to our trade with our biggest trading partner? And would that improve our self-defence position?
I'm not sure we'd gain much in the bargain? Other than trade one sabre-rattling dictatorial mega-power partner for another?
Nor do we need to become involved in the race hate division that is the current state of the, gun-totting, United States of America!
Better to beef up our self-reliant independence as much as we're able, thereby killing two birds with one stone, i.e., massively turbocharge a recovering economy and seriously beef up our self-reliant defense capability to the point of unconquerable! And because that's what we actually need to do!
I mean, if we allow it, they'll just move in and take what they want, at bargain basement prices that remove us and ours from the loop! Unless it's the (nudge nudge, wink, wink) sale of visas with shorter wait times/larger fees?
If they can no longer do that and just can't beat us in a war? I mean, they tried for thousands of years to take Vietnam. And they fought with SFA! Just unquenchable resolve!
We surely can match that resolve, should we need to and vastly outperform them on any production paradigm?
On second thoughts maybe not, given the Vietnamese had warrior generals like Ho Chi Ming at the helm! We've got, marketing guru, Morrison!
