Given his tortured language and adolescent comprehension level, I think the 'deplorables' actually are a bit smarter than Trumpf, but opportunist enough to stick up for him, since he will do things for them. He seems to be deferring to their wishes so far.

It seems that Trumpf has an IQ of 98, which he thought was out of 100, and so pretty good. Plus it was positive ! So goody-good !
