The Republicans' treasonous betrayal of the American people : Comments

By Alon Ben-Meir, published 11/6/2020

For how long Republican leaders will silently accept and subserviently enable Trump to destroy the basic moral tenets and values on which this Union was founded, and which they swore to uphold and protect.

This article is the sort of diatribe that really annoys the crap out of me.

Trump is the President that demolished the lies and outrageous ineptitude of the opposition, which coincidentally was as obvious among his own party as it was among Democrat contenders.

When trump takes aim, it's at a "type"; his own party included.

Goading of the enemy is what he excels at. Obviously this author fits the "type".

God blessUncle Donald, and may he forever hold the Christian Bible high: who gives a rats if it was upside down. That's actually synonymous of the world we live in at the moment!

Dan.

Another Trump Derangement Syndrome rant by a member of the liberal left who just can't accept the fact that Donald trump won the Presidency because of what he advocates, which the majority of people in the USA agree with. And incredibly, he did it without the support of the Republican Party.

He has done extremely well during a time of crises in the world, staring down China, and now staring down the white anarchists and the black mob. The sort of brown shirts who Alon ben Meir apparently thinks should be running the country with mob rule. The more I see of Trump, the more I am convinced he is going to romp home in the next election.

The only thing Trump has to worry about is that the Democrats message of "vote for us and we will give you everything for free" message is a very powerful one among the ever expanding numbers of dumb people in the USA. Race baiting the white race is beginning to anger white people and who voters vote for in the USA will become a feature of which race and minority they identify with.

Lego, slight correction, he did not win the popular vote, but a majority of collegiate votes.

While I hardly like Trump, the fact he was elected to deliver a certain policy mix.

End of story really; you get who you vote for.

"Treasonous betrayal"?

The American people will decide that for themselves at the next election. My bet is that they will return Donald Trump to the Whitehouse. If anyone thinks the same as this bloke, they were never intending to vote for a Republican President anyway, so it doesn't matter what they think.

BTW: popular vote, collegiate vote - it applies to every presidential candidate at every election. Silly people actually blame the system for having Trump, but it's the same system that saw idiots like Obama and the Bush's elected.

Ttbn,

Obama and the Bushes all won the popular vote, as well as the collegial/collegiate vote.

I don't like to be off-side with anybody, my only distinctive feature, but try as I might, I can't for the life of me, see anything in Trumpf but a rich, big, not-too-bright bully, who has always got his way ever since he inherited his $ 600 million from his racketeer father (who in turn got his inheritance from HIS brothel-running father; real American enterprisers). Perhaps there is a touch of psychosis or social pathology there, but that might be just the narcissism:

http://www.diamondapproach.org/blog/narcissistic-self-everyday-narcissism?gclid=EAIaIQobChMItL6m-7z46QIVUyUrCh1ZiwP1EAAYASAAEgLdE_D_BwE

He seems to deliberately appeal to the crudest, dumbest, most pig-ignorant of the populace, but I'm sure that the American people, not really known for their intelligence, smugness perhaps, still will throw him out in November.

Still, Pussy Man provides a constant stream of idiotic, outrageous actions (often soon reversed) and statements which promise to entertain us right up to early November, and beyond.

I agree Joe.

it was on on the table for all to see, but still Americans chose him.

Probably tells you a lot about the state of world politics; solutions are increasingly difficult

Was there a single fact in that article to support the hysterical rants?

We are told Trump has a "treasonous agenda". No evidence for that, just the assertion which is treated as fact, whereupon the ranting starts.

People like the author have spent 4 years trying to get rid of Trump so as to get back to the Obama project. The more they fail the more they rave and rant. It's funny and sad at the same time.

You, like Hillary Clinton, can't see a problem in your above statement.
Her overall and now infamous description of Trump supporters was " Deplorables".

Your mentality along with Hillary's, is actually the reason the politically dispossessed thronged towards Trump. At last somebody in power who spoke their language.

The historic grass roots of the Democrats were plantation and slave owners from the south. Isn't it interesting, that now the Democrats push a more strange than a Trump supporters inclinations, towards the opposite.

So in reality and historically, the Democrats shoot themselves in the foot by branding opposition as " deplorable".

They lost the civil war, and they'll lose the next election too, ( with any luck).

Nailed it, Joe.

Young folk are registering as never before so they can vote during the November elections.

Not too sure if Biden will change very much as he is owned by the establishment?

Albeit may win because he is not Donald Trump?

At which time the justice system ma finally prevail and take Mr Trump to task, to answer for what seems to be, tax evasion on an unprecedented scale?

Donald has identified clean coal, as coal you wash! And arguably an apt if literal, accurate description.

Other than that, he has removed the absurd, asinine prohibition on R+D on thorium. You know, the most energy-dense material on earth. And delivers the promise of fusion that fusion thus far, never ever has and may never ever deliver?

On that note, one wonders how long the Atomic energy agency will continue to employ, Kirk Sorensen, possibly America's foremost authority on MSR thorium? If Donald is voted out and an establishment guy replaces him with the establishment's status quo?
Cheers, Alan B.

Pete,

113,000, and counting - an extra thousand each day, but that might rise with the abolition of restrictions (and, it must be said, with the necessary marches against police brutality and general US racism).

DDan:

"the reason the politically dispossessed thronged towards Trump. At last somebody in power who spoke their language.... "

Given his tortured language and adolescent comprehension level, I think the 'deplorables' actually are a bit smarter than Trumpf, but opportunist enough to stick up for him, since he will do things for them. He seems to be deferring to their wishes so far.

It seems that Trumpf has an IQ of 98, which he thought was out of 100, and so pretty good. Plus it was positive ! So goody-good !

Every day, I can't wait to hear what Pussy Man will do or say next :). Buy Puerto Rico from Cuba ? Withdraw troops from Turkey this month, and send them back next month ?

Better than Abbott & Costello !

Sorry Joe

Trump's ego-testicular ("thankyou Mr Putin and my billionaire daddie" ) lack of Trumpian concern for his people has killed even more - 113,000.

But no Joe. You are wrong on the riots. There are regular race riots in America especially as the weather warms up

and Hey it gives Yankee Youth a cause, to feel Big against "the Man", and break things...

- see this long list of US mass race riots approx every 2 years: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_racial_violence_in_the_United_States#Since_1990

Main difference these days is there are millions of phone-cameras on the streets - recording redneck American cops beating/killing blacks.

Love the way Joe blasts the 'pussy' President. Is that why all those feral women wore pussy heads when throwing tantrums and making up Russian delusion lies.

It remains the case that the WuFlu deaths in places like New York and New Jersey massively distort the successes that other parts of the US have had in controlling the virus. Still well over 1/3rd of all cases occurred in those two states alone.

The Democrat leadership in those places screwed up spectacularly. The major of NYC and the governor ought to be resigning in disgrace right now and its only the fact that the media protect all Democrat screw-ups that has saved them.

Yet in the minds of the TDS crowd it's all Trump's fault. And all those places where the virus was successfully fought - oh nothing to do with Trump, apparently. Lots of deaths in NY - all Trump's fault. Few deaths in Texas - nothing to do with Trump. That's over-the-top TDS 'thinking' for ya.

It wasn't all that long ago that LM/Paul etc were predicting that the virus would explode in Republican centres like Florida and Georgia. That's been memory-holed now - never happened.

The states run the health system in the US and the states that were wise enough to have Republican leadership did extraordinarily well in the crisis. The Democrat states? nothing to see here..move on.

LM wrote:"It seems that Trumpf has an IQ of 98, which he thought was out of 100, and so pretty good. Plus it was positive ! So goody-good"

So much of what people like LM write is off-the-scale insane that's its difficult to know whether things like that are just his idea of funny or if he really believes it. Let's hope it the former.

But its clear that many of those here are impervious to facts and data about Trump. We still have bozos who push, and presumably believe, the "PUTIN's PUPPET" rubbish. Despite all the evidence (or lack thereof) from Mueller, the evidence that the FBI knew Putin wanted Hillary to win, the evidence that the CCP is working to defeat Trump now, and the evidence from Trump's foreign policy, all of which should demonstrate to even the thickest of minds that Trump is Putin and Xi's worst nightmare, still these bozos can't move on from their cherished beliefs.

"Obama and the Bushes all won the popular vote".

2000? I'll leave you to check it out.

But the aim isn't to win the popular vote, the aim is to win the Electoral College. If the rules change the electioneering would change. Its just the usual whining of the loser.

So much of the TDS hatred of Trump's supporters is pure arrogance. The thinking goes that since I'm smart, knowledgeable and reasonable then anyone who disagrees with me must be the opposite. Fools.

Trump killed 113,000 of his own people because Trump called COVID "fake news" for weeks. How do feel about that?

The pro-Russian (therefore leftist?) Trump's Triumphant delay in taking COVID-19 seriously led 113,000 Americans who wanted to LIVE having no choice but to DIE. See http://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2020/politics/trump-coronavirus-statements/ dated March 31, 2020

TRUMP SAID IN 2020:

“We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China, and we have it under control. It’s going to be just fine.” CNBC interview Jan. 22

“Looks like by April, you know, in theory, when it gets a little warmer, it miraculously goes away.” New Hampshire rally Feb. 10

“The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA. … Stock Market starting to look very good to me!” Twitter Feb. 24

“It’s going to disappear. One day, it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.” News conference, Feb. 27

“I think the 3.4 percent [confirmed fatality rate] is really a false number.” Fox News interview, March 4

“Some people will have this at a very light level and won’t even go to a doctor or hospital, and they’ll get better. There are many people like that.” Briefing with airline CEOs, March 4

“The FAKE NEWS Media and their partner, the Democrat Party, is doing everything within its semi-considerable power ... to inflame the CoronaVirus situation.” Twitter, March 9

“We’re prepared, and we’re doing a great job with it. And it will go away. Just stay calm. It will go away.” March 10

“This is a very contagious virus. It’s incredible. But it’s something that we have tremendous control over.” News conference, March 15

“America will again, and soon, be open for business — very soon — a lot sooner than three or four months.” News conference, March 23

“I’d love to have the country opened up and just raring to go by [April] Easter.” Fox News interview, March 24

and note well OLO's pro-Trump Twerps:

“I don’t believe you need 40,000 or 30,000 ventilators. You know, you go into major hospitals sometimes they’ll have two ventilators, and now all of a sudden they’re saying, ‘Can we order 30,000 ventilators?’” Said Trump at a Fox News interview, March 26, 2020.

According to plantagenet Trump called the virus a hoax. He then provides a series of quotes that don't even mention the word hoax. This is considered logical?

Surprisingly some of the quotes show that Trump was on the money...

eg “I think the 3.4 percent [confirmed fatality rate] is really a false number.” Fox News interview, March 4"

That was right...

"“I don’t believe you need 40,000 or 30,000 ventilators. "

This was a result of NY trying to blame Trump for their lack of ventilators. As things turned out they indeed didn't need 30000 new ventilators.

Its becoming quite comical how the TDS crowd run a mile whenever I raise the point that the US has done very well in regards to the WuFlu other than in NY/NJ which have failed spectacularly due to the failings of the Democrat governors and mayors. Each time I mention this, there's a rush for the exits.

I also couldn't help but notice plantagenet didn't even try to defend his "putin's puppet" malarkey.

I was getting lack of money due to a lockdown, so initially I started to search for some extra dollars for my wallet. I don`t trust any cryptocurrency or "super" strategies from stranges, it was time for something big and legit.
First attempt was in a digital gaming, and I should say, it was a failure shot from me. In two weeks from the period when I got acquainted with that I already got extra money and all thanks to [url]https://www.source.bet/best-online-roulette-casinos/[/url]

Not sure if I will continue playing, but I Hope I will not fall into the loan pit again.
What about you and your new experience on lockdown?

Mhaze,

Would you like to re-consider some of your glib assertions, about the number of ventilators needed, and Trumpf being Putin's (or Xi Jinping's. or Erdogan's) puppet, for example ?

Thank god I don't live in a sh!thole country like the US.
