The mutant 'Chinese question' : Comments

By Chek Ling, published 12/6/2020

Ah, the outbreak of the White Australia virus had to be contained: no overt racism is to be condoned, in public. And no doubt the Chinese voters and donors have to be appeased too.

Come on ttbn

You're just a Hanson huggin, One Nation luvin, anti-Chinese RACIST.

Here ya go ttbn - Your leader http://youtu.be/3HSxXCwBgog . She doesn't "tlike" Asians.

Australia has tried to collude with the US, which has damaged China-Australia ties.

The US has been pressuring Australia, which seriously affects Australia's diplomatic independence. Former Australian PM Paul Keating already called for a "more independent, balanced foreign policy" after Trump was elected as US president.

In addition to US manipulation, the deterioration of China-Australia relations has been triggered by the rising trend of Trump Twerpism in our land.

Many Australian media outlets have helped hype China-Australia disputes. Australian-born American media mogul Rupert Murdoch has controlled a large portion of Australia's print media and cable TV news, which to some extent helped the US further jeopardize China-Australia ties.

In fact, Australia has already chosen a side between China and the US as China-US competition is intensifying. During the Trump Dump era, Australia has decided to follow US geopolitical strategies toward China.

Trump Dumpsters, a group of Australian right-wing politicians who speak out against China, may also collude with Murdoch's Muppets.

Many Australian business people and industries are still dependent on their interests in China. Therefore it is unlikely that Australia will decouple from China.

No country in the Asia-Pacific region has actually threatened Australia's security since Japan in WWII. China is even less likely to threaten Australia since the two countries built a strong comprehensive strategic partnership in 2014.

International education is Australia's fourth-largest foreign exchange earner, according to reports. There may be an economic impact on Australia after China's education authorities warned current and prospective Chinese students about to study in Australia.

Chinese authorities warned Chinese students to beware of anti-Chinese RACISM.

Of the type spouted by ttbn.

Hey ttbn.

China artificially created a entirely new virus which is 80% SARS- 2, and the rest a mixture of HIV and Malaria. It then let it escape from one of it's two sub standard level 4 virology institutes in Wuhan. It then deliberately and with malice allowed it to be transmitted to the rest of the world and has killed 330,000 innocent people so far. But who's side is plantagenet on? China's of course. Maybe Plantagenet got educated in Peking university and is a member of the PLA?

The Chinese have studied Hannibal and they know that the only way they can defeat the USA is through asymmetric warfare, and that means attacking the allies of the new Rome. That means Australia. The CCP must shake their heads in wonder at how stupid "Australians" like plantagenet are if they can't recognise a fascist regime like the CCP which is bent on world domination. If Plantagenet is European, his grandparents were probably Appeasers of Hitler and responsible for the western grovelling to Hitler at Munich.

As for "decoupling" from China, I for one won't buy anything "Made in China" unless I absolutely have to. When it comes to a trade war begun by aggressive fascists, two can play at that game. And when millions of western consumers do exactly the same thing that I do, THAT will hurt the Chinese fascists enough to make them think twice.

I think we should rename plantagenet "Pig Iron Plantagenet."

Anyhoo, the biggest mistake China has made is not just the CCP virus, it has managed through it's bullying and aggressive behaviour to pisss off almost everybody in the entire world, with the sole exception of plantagenet. There is hardly a country that China has not had a serious issue with and which it has ham fistedly retaliated withusing threats and embargoes.

If plantagenet is not a Chinese agent or a troll stirring things up, then his IQ obviously came from the shallow end of the gene pool

Dearest LEGOland

That you hold me akin to Australia's greatest CONSERVATIVE Prime Minister

"Pig Iron Bob" Menzies, is the greatest accolade sir. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1938_Dalfram_dispute#%22Pig_Iron_Bob%22_nickname

Bob was named as such by Australia's LEFTWING union movement, who must be your bum-chum buddies.

Ironical or what?!

Settle down Children. THere's plenty of room in the sandpit and Johnny give, Wun Hung Low, back his Tonka dump truck. There, there, poor little ikle diddums.

Did the little Aussie blame you for the lump of shite in the sandpit? What's that? You've soiled your undies? Well, that sort of suggests the origin of the lump of shite in the sandpit.

Oh, you were just passing wind and some of it had lumps in it? And Johnny objected? How terribly unfriendly of Johnny. His mother will be so cross?

And put a lump of raw steak on that eye. It is said to help reduce the swelling. You'll soon be all white again. All White?

LEGO,

Pete used to be an extra in Monty Python.

On China, I think that our biggest worry with that country is our own politicians, some of whom are saying we need China, be nice to China or we'll ('we' being the politicians and their mining mates) lose money; the others are saying nothing. The most useless of them is the bloke who is supposed to be leading the country. Did you happen to see him on the news last night? In replying to the usual bullshite from Adam Bandt, he said that all deaths in custody, PARTICULARLY Aboriginal deaths are a worry. The 'PARTICULARLY' shows what a gutless sell-out Morrison is. Instead of slapping Bandt down and advising the idiot that more white people die in jail than black ones, he capitulated. What a gutless wus!. How do you rate him as a defender of anything but his own huge salary?

According to an article on the web - "last
year Chinese students and tourists collectively
brought in more than $18 billion to Australia,
boosting government coffers and propping up countless
job".

That's a heck of a lot and the prospect of this revenue
slowly draining away - must be a frightening one for
our government.

However, as we can see Australia's relationship with its
largest trading partner is now mixed in mutual
suspicion and some would say - outright hostility.

Politicians believed that China would very gradually -
liberalise.
They were wrong. It appears to be becoming more aggressive.

Australia's needs to build up relationships with other
powers - whose trajectories will shape our region's
future. India comes to mind. And of course we should
also retain all of our allies - the US, UK, Canada,
New Zealand, et al.

Our Prime Minister put it so well when he pointed out that
we are a trading nation, but that we should never trade our
values in response to coercion from whenever it comes.
