In my occasional down to earth musing moments, I've reflected on the involvement of royalty in our daily lives, while at the same time, reaching for the Grimms brothers book of fairy tales.

Am I educated or what. Princesses that sleep for a hundred years in a castle entwined with thorn bushes to capture invaders, offering them a grisly death for their efforts to change things.

I am more anti-Republic than I am pro-Monarchist. I really like the Queen. I can't stand Charles, and the next generation of Royals are acting like pop stars - no dignity at all. They will need to lift their games before the Queen dies, or the Poms might do away with them before we do.

Not a view I share! Think we could do so much better than the endless rolling over and begging for tummy rubs from an entity that works against us and for them, when divided loyalties demand their real loyalties be exposed for all to see?

I see a better system in, we the people! And protected in enabling legislation that completely sidelines, the behind the sciences power brokers and Kingmakers!

And I could be done but for the usual naysayers and R's lickers/
huge vested sell interest in the current hugely manipulated system that works for them and against most of, we the people and genuine social justice!?

Alan B,
And, which of those people do you think have got the mentality to govern ? Labor's brain-dead & the Coalition's running out of knee-jerks.
Does it really matter who the head of State is when you mainly deal with indoctrinated morons ?
I bet you couldn't find one without a Tattoo & Dope in their handbag !

Long live our gracious Queen!

If I am to be ruled over by anyone, then best that would be by someone so remote that they do not mind how I live and never issues any orders or decrees.

Happy birthday, dear Elizabeth, may you live forever!

IMO, system works well enough.

One of the least important policy issues I think that needs attention.
