If you have a value system of your own? The best way to transfer it is to stay true to it yourself and your own integrity.

Even in the face of the most hostile character assassination by folk with a very different self-serving personal, you go visit the nearest taxidermist, agenda!

The best investment in the world is to teach your children to think independently and to learn from their own knowledge garnered and based on facts.

Vern,

Thank you for a superb article that exemplifies what Jesus Christ taught: 'I did this as an example for you. So you should serve each other just as I served you' (John 13:15).

The Christian way of life is, 'You should be an example for them in every way by the good things you do. When you teach, be honest and serious. And your teaching should be clearly right so that you cannot be criticized. Then anyone who is against you will be ashamed. There will not be anything bad they can say about us' (Titus 2:7-8).

This is not a model of CRAP but models the Bill & Melinda Gates' Foundation and the followers of Jesus Christ.

OzSpen you have provided nothing to the conversation, based on an irrational belief in something which is literally made up.

If there was an historical Jesus it is highly probable he was an an Essene, a member of a ‘brotherhood’ which was in existence around the purported time of the man. He was not divine, nor a healer/saviour etc.

I still can’t fathom how anyone can earn a PhD writing about a mythical entity, copied I might add, from hundreds of much older religious beliefs. No wonder our educational system is going down the gurgler rapidly. Get a grip man.

If you inculcate religion into your children’s minds, you do nothing but delude them and damage their real learning opportunities for life.
