Yeah, in the old USSR, Trofim Lysenko 'proved' that tomatoes and potatoes could be grown from the same plant too. How did that go ? And biologists may suggest that ultimately apples ARE pears, or vice versa.

Is there really a gay gene ? People can call themselves what they like, dress as they like (if they think that's the key to being either male or female: how old are they, six ?) But as Alison says, let them do it on their own money.

No, such people shouldn't be penalised but neither should anybody else have to give a toss about their preferences. Life is too full of real problems.
