Agreed. I've stated this previously on twitter. Had Israel lost a single one of its three wars of survival every Jew would have been massacred. Every Arab dictatorship survives through brutality not democratic niceties. But for Israel to rule over a defeated enemy with the necessary iron security poisons both sides and is untenable. Palestinians want Israel gone and have rejected every two state offer. They view any two state solution as interim en route to Iran's fanciful goal of dismantling Israel and deporting all Jews who migrated to Israel and their descendants. Clearly Israel will never allow this.

I believe the point has been reached where Israel must offer Palestinians fair compensation to resettle with dignity in a stable Jordan or elsewhere, allowing Israel to annex the territory it won and requires with Jordan taking the rest. Egypt should incorporate Gaza.

This is a good deal . Trump gets Jerusalem. Jordan pays for donkey-fodder with alcohol taxes for west Jordan . Israel: Control access and egress between the West Bank and Jordan,
Maintain security control for the entire area from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea,
Ensure the enclave be demilitarized and remain demilitarized.
Israel gets its army in royal land , a kingdom of Israel aimed at Baghdad , Ankara and concrete rubble mining in Syria.
