The #MeToo phenomenon and what, if anything, anyone can do about it : Comments
By Don Aitkin, published 13/3/2018Ordinarily, a person accused of some crime is presumed innocent until found otherwise by a duly constituted court. That has not been the case in any of the examples I have read.

Sad to say it but most of the fierce laws regarding rape only are used if the rape is caught in the act or if the perpetrator admits that it occured. With that in mind can anyone blame the me too movement for how it currently plays itself out?
The sad part is that the movement will harm the power of the legal system, and throws out the checks in the justice systems to protect the accused until proven guilty.
