The power behind the me too movement, is that it sidesteps the legal process. And since the legal process is known to fail those who say they are raped. Expecially if the accused is rich and famous. Then this side stepping the law is the workable alternative.

Sad to say it but most of the fierce laws regarding rape only are used if the rape is caught in the act or if the perpetrator admits that it occured. With that in mind can anyone blame the me too movement for how it currently plays itself out?

The sad part is that the movement will harm the power of the legal system, and throws out the checks in the justice systems to protect the accused until proven guilty.

I don't think there have been complaints about 'rape'. It's been all about sexual harrassment, which can be anything from a look or a word to a feel. Rape complaints wouldn't be dealt with this way. Apart from ruining men's reputations, there's not a lot that can be legally achieved in sexual harrassment, which might have occurred or might not have. The truth will never be known. Trial by media is the only way.

I think a lot of these complaints are because of what he didn't do, rather than what he did do.

When he doesn't call after the one night stand, it becomes harassment or rape, regardless on the actual events on the night.

Move to some high immigrate areas of England or outback Indigeneous communities and you can raise your odds greatly at joining the meetoo movement. Did not see International womens day having much to say about these women. Modern feminism is quite nauseating.

True victims of this crime never get over it mostly because the perps got away with it and the world, to them, just doesn't care.

It's a truly horrific crime at its worst so obviously all men are glad to let women discuss it seriously!

Where the conversation gets dodgy is when innocent men get blamed who've actually been there for victims!
