Marxists are adherents of the ideas of German philosopher Karl Marx (1818-1883). From what I understand he wrote a lot of twaddle about politics and economics, which I've never bothered to read because it sounds terribly dull.

Fascism is a political ideology that emerged in Italy during the early part of the 20th century, before spreading to other European nations. As far as I know it was not inspired by Marxism. It would very much surprise me to learn that it was, given that a key defining feature of Fascism is its implacable animosity towards communism, which is not at all what one typically expects of Marxists who are traditionally quite pro-communist.

Fascism? Adherents when politically convenient, to extreme right wing ideology. And may include the religious right, white supremacists, southern rednecks, intolerant book burning Nazis, the KKK and the brain dead? Runner and his alter ego Diver are in good company?

Marxism? Proposed a world wide worker's revolution, only to be stymied by the onset of the industrial revolution and better working conditions and wages? Even so broadly accept core philosophy by extreme left wing, early communists like Lenin, Who used, then got rid of the socialists element, i.e., Labor.

And eventually replaced by the very worst butcher and mass murder of his own people, Starlin. Who is credited with murdering or disappearing, more Russians than those killed in WW11!

Marxism and Fascism are hardly two sides of the same coin and poles apart as moribund ideologies, with absolutely nothing in common!

And have absolutely nothing in common with the moderate middle or rational common sense. And like the rest of the brainwashed from birth ideologies, never ever allow the fats/truth or compelling evidence to sway their views or change their minds on anything! NEVER! And able to go to war over those views or conditioned responses? TBC.
