By David Singer, published 2/1/2018

Abbas has once again demonstrated the unerring ability of the Palestinian Arabs to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

The ultimate solution:

Trump should enthrone David Singer as the King of (undemocratic) Judea, whose capital is Eastern Jerusalem and includes the West Bank and the Gaza strip.

One phone call from the oval office is all that's needed to order Israel's army and security forces to leave the place within a fortnight, then a high Mexican-style wall will be built between Israel and Judea over the 1967 border.

Israel will then live in peace with the Arab world. As to the affairs and security of the Judean territories, these will be completely in Singer's hands. If he, like his predecessors, shoots rockets over at Western Jerusalem, digs tunnels or calls in for Iranian help, Israel will know what to do!

The US for the last 70yrs has exercised soft power by providing by far the largest portion of the UN's budget (25%). Including $400m of the $1.2bn p.a. budget for UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine) Similarly it has funded just about every other aid project more than anyone else, and while it does not demand compliance, it does demand respect.

However, it appears that many of these recipients have taken the help entirely for granted and happily piled into and voted for a non binding vote in the General Assembly essentially admonishing the US.

A 20% cut to these ingrates should jog their memory.

The US, or anyone else, gives nothing away,.....all want something in return, and to even entertain the idea only shows the level of ignorance of those who entertain the concept.
I get fed up with the fairy flosses who continually espouse this concept that aid is given freely with no strings attached and or favour expected.
THE WORD 'AID' is a gross misinterpretation of the act
