By Peter West, published 5/12/2017

We see China as backward, polluted and primitive, with appalling standards in the way the Chinese treat human beings.

Andrew Robb is dreadfully upset. Some nasty insinuations are being made.

Thanks Waverley

For the tip on Liberal former Minister Andrew Robb's payment.

Nick McKenzie and James Massol of The Sydney Morning Herald, December 6, 2017, reported
http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/andrew-robbs-secret-china-contract-money-for-nothing-20171205-gzzaq5.html

"Andrew Robb's secret China contract: money for nothing"

"A secret letter to former trade minister Andrew Robb reveals that his consulting deal with a company closely linked to the Chinese government contains terms so vague and ill-defined he gets paid $880,000 a year even if he does nothing. Former NSW Supreme Court judge Anthony Whealy, who examined the terms of the leaked letter from Chinese firm Landbridge to Mr Robb, said that "on the face of it, he is required not to do anything and still get a whacking great fee"."...

Well, China says we are all racist.
Note: There is no Chinese race.

China has many races.

Alan Jones read out a list of mainly rural properties that have been
bought by Chinese companies. It went on and on for ages.
150,000 hectares here a million hectares there, it was appalling.

The food produced will will go onto Chinese plates and we will make
nothing from it. I doubt we will even make taxes. It will be sold for
next to no profit to related companies.

Perhaps we need a Foreign Investment Board.

Yes we need far more control over who buys our land

Some countries just say"this is ours now" and nationalise the lot.

PS
News Corp papers are making a great deal of the Shanghai Sam issue- cartoons of Sam with his pants down, revealing undies with the Chinese flag etc.
But we nearly all wear undies "Made in China" these days.
