When you start relying on leaders from 25 years ago, you are truly desperate.

This article has very little depth to it. It fails to explain why Queensland is a Labor state for example. The simple answer is, Queenslanders voted it in to power. And it can't be assumed Labor will not retain power at the next Queensland election, coming on soon.

There is nothing new either, in Political parties identifying themselves with a perception of success, represented by past leaders.

It is also not hard to believe, the winning party will be that which flies under the banner of gay rights. Labor are smart enough to work this simplicity out. Turnbull was!
It's a “losers” cause to oppose it, (politically speaking). A sad indictment on a non-thinking controlled populace!
If gay rights wins at the survey count, Labor are in, irrespective of past performance.

Labor's gravitation to a centralised city, Green orientated base is pragmatic. It's a winner. Winners don't live in the bush!
The election of Turnbull demonstrated the tension between following the sheep, or forging a new more radical base for the Liberals. It's a failed experiment, from which there is no return!

Get ready for the inevitability of a Labor Australia. (And no surprises if Queensland lead the flock of sheep to a win).

Yes, of course we remember the Labor party: isn't this the party that enthroned Juliar over us, and the menace of her NBN?

Are you now repentant? Allow us to retain our copper-connected phones, they I may perhaps even vote for you!

«For Australia to grow, Canberra must shrink.»

Yes, but why are we having Canberra in the first place?
All the Australian states would do so much better independently without the Canberra central regime!

Daffy Duck

Interesting. Do you find a "fit" in your theory ( since you mentioned world population), for the party in power, to manipulate immigration and the multicultural anthem, as a power tool for controlling the sheep herd?
Obviously both these are a divisive tool, (as with gay rights), for making political progress!
