MT is not dead in the water yet.
BJ might make a good PM.
PH deserves a fair go - without slur by media.

'Even Keating admitted recently major policy shifts from his time were a mistake. Too late now though.'

Did he now? That's big of him. But he can afford contrition, lying back and enjoying his $250,000 non-means tested taxpayer-funded pension, plus a taxpayer-funded chauffeur, a taxpayer-funded office in the big end of town with taxpayer-funded staff of four, and unlimited taxpayer-funded first-class air travel for life.

Keating, together with Bob Hawke, who is also living the equally taxpayer-funded good life retirement, basically destroyed the Labour Party and the aspirations of all working people. He turned Labour into a Tory-lite sellout. Tony Blair was so impressed that he used Keating as his model for the UK's New Labour - and we all know how that turned out.

Barnaby or Hanson, I would rather vote for Katter.
The worst part of Abbotts knifing is it did not go deep enough. Turnbull saved Abbott from losing his seat only as an act of desperation.
Turnbull has failed miserably, unable to control the far right of his party.
I certainly would not put my faith in Hanson putting a party together, five minutes in politics is no recommendation for putting any sort of trust in her.

Is stupid to dismiss good ideas just because someone else thought or spoke them first.

These elected representatives need concentrate and work towards where they agree, not waste time arguing where they disagree.
