My particular focus in this essay is on how writers of the gospels use the imagery of the end of the world to interpret the death of Jesus.

Very good. May i ask you about karma? When children are born with Thalidomide disability such as no arms is that caused by their past errors?

Dear Nick,

In answer to your question, it depends on one's perspective:

That the child is born deformed, has a known physical cause - thalidomide.

That this specific soul has chosen to associate and identify itself with this deformed child-body, is a result of the karma of that soul.
