A wall is a necessity as PART of the protection of Israeli citizens.
Obviously efforts should also continue to counter the threat of tunnels and missiles.

The only dispute that I have with Netanyahu is about the location of that wall. Netanyahu wants the wall to be somewhere inside the West Bank while I want it to be exactly over Israel's original, pre-1967 border, often called the "green line".

Discarding negative and useless superlatives such as "wild beasts", it is evident that Palestinian primary-school text-books teach their children to hate and kill all Jews: nobody in their right mind would allow people who were taught to kill them throughout their formative years (even if they were somehow justified as some claim) to come near them.

As for jailing Israelis in the prison of Israel, I actually find it a good thing: apart from protecting Israelis from terror attacks, the same wall, once erected in the right place, could also prevent Israelis from straying into the West Bank (no Israelis want to go Gaza anyway). If someone in Israel wants to live there, outside Israel's borders, that should be OK, they should not be prevented, but then they should first renounce their Israeli citizenship.

As long as the Palestinians try to kill Israelis, they must be prepared to accept the consequences.
