Israel cannot exist as a Jewish and a democratic state as the current definition of a democracy does not allow a nation to make distinctions among its citizens on the basis of ethnicity or religion. A Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu or any state founded on a basis that only defines part of its citizenry cannot be democratic. Ethnic cleansing which would make Israel entirely Jewish would be an atrocity.

Israel can exist as a Jewish state. It can exist as a democratic state. It cannot exist as both and must make a choice.

Before it is too late being the operative term! And that must include a halt to the new illegal settlements and finally sitting down until an agreement all can live with is thrashed out! Hard to ask a (Son of Jacob) man to be reasonable while you're stealing his God given land!

The alternative being, creating a virtual hell here on earth where nobody is safe from random acts of violence by satan's servants! And nothing will improve if we all just stand on the sidelines complaining, isn't it terrible or resorting to lethal force as the very first alternative!?

What about the entirely innocent women and children?

Decide what kind of future you want and leave no stone unturned or good deed undone until you have achieved it.

This article could have been written 10 or 20 years ago, but now the demographic balance in Israel has tipped: the Jewish settlers and their supporters deliberately make more children than the average and are more likely to remain in Israel while those who do not agree with the occupation tend to give up and leave the country in desperation.

An atrocity is not a wonderful idea. I would not like to be expelled from a country I chose to live in. I doubt others would like it.

The Christian Reformation involved much more than cleaning out corrupt leaders. Martin Luther was a horrible bigot whose hate sermons could be reprinted verbatim in the Nazi newspapers to justify their actions against the Jews. The Catholic Douay Bible is different from various Protestant Bibles. The Wars of the Reformation involved much violence and Christians killing Christians who had a different version of mumbojumbo. At that time tolerance by a Christian was regarded as a fault. During the Reformation some Christians were as prone to extreme violence as some Muslims are now.

Both Catholics and Protestants burned people at the state. Muslim violence merely follows Christian examples.

In addition to the Wars of the Reformation the Christian heritage includes persecution of pagans, massacres of Jews and heretics, the Inquisition, forced conversions and an opposition to science which challenged the mumbojumbo.

2, the reformation was 100% persecution of Protestants by Catholics & the Protestants defending themselves.
3, opposition to science was 100% Islamic & Catholic. EG, Darwin was a Protestant christian.
4, universal education & health care was invented by Protestant Christians with their own money, as in NO tax payers money was involved until quite recently in our history.

6, NO christian has a problem with "people of the Jewish faith" but there are radical, extreme Zionists who claim to be Jewish on racial, ethnic or family history grounds who are in fact Atheist Communists.
7, i support Israel's right to exist in peace but Islam has a 1,400 year history of killing Jews & Christians. It is time we stopped kidding ourselves & opt for a reasonable, defensive position. The settled science clearly shows that Muslims may be incapable of living in peace with us, inside our nations. Why can't a Muslim inside Israel convert to either Christianity or Judaism? As i understand it there are plenty of Palestinian Christians in Israel already. I would gladly donate stone blocks to Israel to rebuild the Temple.
