From my reading no one believed Saddam had operational nuclear
weapons, certainly after the Israelis destroyed their nuclear reactor.
However with the help of Pakistan they might have done it.
They did of course have chemical weapons and they used them on Iran
and the Kurds.

No Saddam had no chemical weapons either. They found some old, degraded stockpiles of chemical weapons from the 90s but they weren't a threat to anyone.
