More people, more traffic, more demand for housing, more space needed in schools and hospitals. Growth is outstripping the work of planners and policy makers.

Don't worry about over-population, folks! The coming nuclear war will take care of that.

But some nations will unexpectedly get leveled. And first on the list is the U.S.A.!

Can you believe it?

I think Eblola and other virus and disease due to famine during a next world war, will cause more death in the long term, than radiation.

Ah yes, I remember it well.

Centennial park in June, to adapt the old song, was a wonderful place. Pretty girls feeding the ducks on a slow Saturday morning, but even better were those on the bridle path.

Yes there were riding schools hiring out horses along the boundary from the park, & a bridle path through the park. Why is it that the prettiest girls are attracted to horses?

It matters not, what was important was their reaction to the 18 year old hero who came along & tamed that horse that refused to move when asked nicely by the pretty girl. You didn't have to be a football hero, or rich & handsome, to get along with the beautiful girl, when you could restore order to their recalcitrant rented horse.

Yes those were the days, better by far, but alas for Peter & your hero, never to come again. I know Peter, it was nice to park in George street, to take that pretty girl to a movie, but alas, no more.

Perhaps you should join us other old fogeys out here in the sticks.
