"History vindicated Whitlam..."

Anyone who believes that Whitlam has been 'vindicated' by history is clearly living in a fantasy world already. No doubt Gillard will feature there as a Disney princess, feisty yet vulnerable, who could have saved us all with her magic powers had her wicked step-Rudd not intervened.

Well let's face it, there was a lot of crap written, coupled to the most vicious, ditch the witch, witch hunt ever mounted against the nation's PM; along with regime change, mounted by a major publication empire's unprecedented dirt digging campaign; a campaign compounded by Dr No!
Who now cries foul, whenever he has to take some of his own medicine.
I think history will be a lot kinder to her, than her professionally determined detractors, who left no stone unturned to rewrite history, and the so called night of the long knives!
If Gillard had been the entirely ruthless, self serving, power hungry pollie she was made out to be, (another Rudd?) she should have simply called a spill, which may well of made micro managing, (didn't want to ever go home to the wifie?) workaholic (butching it up?) redoubtable religious Rudd's fragile emotional/mental condition, into one were he was permanently broken?
Dr No seemingly believes his own propaganda, and in the right to rule by the privileged classes, and now is busy busy beavering away at destroying Gillard's legacy! Gonkski!?
While I disagreed with much of her policy paradigms, I've always believed in the fair go!
And lets face it, there was very little of that on display, even from her own side, when she saved the government for labor, by simply being one of the smartest political operators, and negotiator par excellence, they'd had in many a year! [And but for the spilling of cabinet confidentiality, (a "woman" scorned?) would have romped in on a landslide!?]
And had she been a bloke, forever eulogized for her contribution!
And in the fullness of time, will likely be eulogized for her misogyny speech, which went viral and around the world; and gave it goosebumps, as one of the most passionately powerful speeches the "REAL" Julia ever gave!

History will be a lot kinder to ex PM Gillard than it will be to the bunch of war mongering liars & slanderers @ NEWS LTD,Howard,Costello & stunt boy Abbott who all turned out to be bigger liars than Gillard ever was.
Abbott is not even bright enough to learn from recent history with the IRAQ disaster, I suppose stupid is as stupid does with that fool

sums up the leftist mentality. Greatest achievements Gonski and Disability reform. The problem is that their was no money left to implement any of this stuff. If they had not had been so incompetent in giving millions/billions away, turning a healthy surplus into an out of control deficit then you might have been able to find something worthwhile. Whether it was pink bats, NBN, Green religous schemes, promises of surplus's every year, border control (out of control) the incompetence and waste was clear for all to see.

Self delusion is a dreadful thing. It can get people actually believing garbage like this. That this garbage can come from an arts student shows why the arts faculties should be closed down in our universities, & their staff consigned to doing something more useful. Playing tiddlywinks comes to mind, where at least they could do less harm.

Yes some fools do actually admire that impractical dreamer Whitlam. How the same people can admire the loathsome, vicious Gillard I really can't understand. I guess tribalism can be the only answer.

Perhaps Whitlam is to blame for Gillard. After all some time after that airy fairy fool, they went to a Latham, looking for toughness, surely the male equivalent of Gillard, as a reaction.

I suppose we can only treat this bit of fluff as an over the top application for a nice job in the public service, once Labor get back in power. God help us, but it probably will happen.
