Common denominator Australian : Comments

By Victor Dominello, published 27/6/2014

We have strong laws in place to ensure that people are not discriminated against on the grounds of race. That is why the NSW Government opposes changes to the Commonwealth Racial Discrimination Act that would dilute these protections.

Don't know whether any of you have noticed, but we are not fish, although some of you appear rather cold-blooded. Some of the comments here demonstrate that the enemy within is just as strong as the enemy without. And I'm not talking about Islamic Jihadists, but those who deny that inclusiveness is, and ought to be, an Australian characteristic.

You forget that it is pointless to try and include those who will exclude you without a second thought.

And we should not 'ought' to be anything. We should be as we choose, rather than adhere to some silly left wing ideal.

Would you also be so kind as to define 'inclusiveness'? The local Aboriginal group in the area I work in find your comments rather inane, silly and irrelevant. They certainly don't wish to be 'inclusive' to other Aboriginal groups with completely different customs, social and family structures. Are they also 'the enemy within'? They are far more Australian than you or I will ever be, and they most certainly don't think they have benefitted from 'multiculturalism' in any way, shape or form.

No we are not fish, but we are animals.
*All* animals are tribal and territorial.

The enemy within are the "noble idealists" who ignore all the knowledge of anthropologists, linguists, archeologists, etc. while claiming to be "educated", "rational" and "scientific".

They happily encourage the displacement of dozens of Western cultures and peoples, ironically in the name of cultural diversity.

They will "tolerate" anything but dissent.

No culture or people can "include" every other culture and people.
It is ridiculous, absurd, impossible.

This is not about exclusion versus inclusion.
It is sane versus insane.

GrahamY, you only need to read the rantings of pure hatred from one Junaid Thorne to witness the insanity of your so called 'inclusiveness'. How do you reply to that? I had no idea a multiculturalist could keep his mouth shut for so long.
