It mystifies me that even in a country that generally has no idea as to satire, most people seem to miss the point. The 'Noah' film is a send -up - specifically of blockbuster biblical epics but also the nonsensical genesis story itself. Noah's ridiculous buzz haircut, the use of something that looks suspiciously like custom-orb gal iron as shields, the beautifully inappropriate casting of the villain, give the game away to the reasonably astute viewer. Even the name of the villain has significance to some of us. No thinking person could take the film seriously.
