By David Singer, published 18/3/2014If the ABC and The Australian are serious about pursuing damage to children in the Middle East, when will they look at Syria?

Looks like this article's contention that the ABC isn't reporting the Syrian Civil War's impact on kids is now out-of-date.
See http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-03-17/refugees-for-a-second-time/5327176 on ABC last night partly about Syrian refugee children now in Lebanon:
"...More than 140,000 people have been killed and more than 2.5 million refugees have fled to neighbouring countries, the vast bulk of them to Lebanon...Matt Brown reports from Shatila in Beirut, where around 20,000 refugees are living on less than one square kilometre of land.."
[Note following references to Children]
"DALLAL LAHAM, PALESTINIAN REFUGEE (voiceover translation): The situation in this country is really difficult and prices are high. Women have to run around all day to feed our children and make money to pay rent.
NADA MOUSSA, PALESTINIAN REFUGEE (voiceover translation): I swear to God it's a humiliation. There are the children - they need to eat, they need to drink and there's no-one to support us.
MATT BROWN: Nada Moussa says her two sons, the men of the family, are missing, picked up at government checkpoints trying to leave Syria. While her six grandchildren are trying to get on with life, she is desperately hoping to reunite with her sons.
NADA MOUSSA (voiceover translation): If there's a chance, an opening for us, I want to return. I want to see my children. Without my children, I cannot bear to live this life alone."
Secondly David, re your "Australia currently occupies a seat on the United Nations Security Council - positioning it to take a lead role in demanding that an armed UN force be sent to Syria..."
1. Thank Christ Australia, unlike the US, is not a captive of Israeli foreign policy.
2. Are you aware that Russia and China (2 members of the UNSC P5) have vetoed any moves in the UNSC (since 2011) regarding armed intervention into Syria?
