By Ali Omidi, published 28/2/2014

One can assume Russia has not been idle and has been working out an effective strategy in order to reduce the geopolitical costs of what is going on in this East European country for Moscow.

The USA were stopped by Russia from invading Syria. The head of Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen Martin Dempsey had a big hand in stopping this insanity.

He is also advising against an invasion by NATO of the Ukraine. This is akin to Russia putting nukes in Cuba again.

Putin knows about the West's New World Order and does not want to be subjugated by it;nor does China.

So if you want a Nuclear conflict backed by the West's banking psychopaths, continue to believe the BS of our corporate media.

At the Grammy awards Lorde the pop singer commented," Planet Earth is run by psychopaths that hide behind the slick marketing of freedom, propaganda and economic growth rhetoric while they construct a system of global totalitarianism." Needless to say the corporate media censored her acceptance speech. See the full transcript.

Arjay,
Yep, sounds like something a seventeen year old girl would say.
If I read the word "psychopaths" in this context again I'm going to retch, psychopathy is a loose term referring to certain personality traits not a personality type and high functioning psychopaths aren't all "Dr Evil" caricatures.
If we're talking about demagogues I can't think of one single contemporary, authoritative figure who even displays any obvious psychopathic traits, furthermore it's impossible to tell for sure unless you're personally involved with a person.

Jay of Melbourne; Psychopathy is defined as a personality disorder that is anti-social behaviour that exhibits diminished empathy and remorse often expressed with uninhibited bold behaviour.

I think Lorde was right and these personality traits when groomed by this Corporate lust for power make them very dangerous. It is a matter of degree and stats say that up to 6% of us exhibit these traits. Perhaps some reading this are feeling a little affronted and that's why they don't like the analogy.

For our leaders like Obama and the Corporations who empower them to want to surround and attack Russia/China and risk a nuclear confrontation is just insane and definitely psychopathic.

Arjay,
I tend to agree with Stefan Molyneux on this, over the last 100 years Liberals and Democrats have shown themselves to be incompetent in dealing with issues of international relations. They caused the two most catastrophic wars the world has ever seen, deployed nuclear weapons for the first time and sold millions into slavery under Stalin and Mao.
They're not psychopaths, they're driven purely by emotions and their weakness is their empathy because it paralyses them and causes situations to spiral further and further out of control, a psychopathic leader would just behead the enemy so they weren't in his way anymore.
We're in the same situation as 38-39, weak Liberal leaders in the West writing cheques they can't cover and trying to put back the inevitable the confrontation with Nationalism in the East.
We can only hope that this time the Liberal Democrats are too weak to do anything stupid or we may be seeing Dunkirk at Odessa, or worse:
