PhilipS, excellent response to Marylin Shepherd, when will the S.A. Advertiser stop and I mean stop including her writings to the Editor, we all know by now she has two or three hundred of her beloved illegal refugees living with her.

The families last night did not mention false Syrian passports, they got their passports in Lebanon, how could they get fake Syrian passports in Lebanon?
Fair dinkum, if you believe only the crap you read in the Daily Telegraph you are deluded. It makes zero difference if they had been travelling on false passports though if they feared persecution and stated the passports were false. Travelling on false passports is no reason to leave people to drown. Posted by Marilyn Shepherd, Wednesday, 2 October 2013 3:26:45 PM

Onjb, there is simply no such thing as an illegal immigrant in Australia but there are 60,000 poms and others here without right and might be living next door to you. Fair dinkum, who are you hateful cowards.

Marilyn Shepherd - Please activate brain before applying fingers to keyboard, it will save embarrassment.
Quote "how could they get fake Syrian passports in Lebanon?" Of someone who provides them. FAKES can be produced anywhere if you have the right equipment for example in a lot of countries you can get fake American, Australian etc currency by your argument this would not be possible. To quote you again "Travelling on false passports is no reason to leave people to drown." We did not let them drown, apparently at least 4 merchant vessels and at least 1 aircraft could not find them. At the time of the initial call we did not even know they were traveling on fake documents. To quote you again "60,000 poms and others here" They are not on welfare with free medical, legal services and getting supported by the taxpayers. They also do not get preferential housing at the expense of THOUSANDS OF HOMELESS Australians. ALL you above comments just defy an logical reasoning, PLEASE take note of my first line. Well said, brother.
How long Lebanon can hold together while refugees continue to flood in from Syria is anybody's guess. Meanwhile our Prime Minister steers us ever more deeply into the moral morass. Sooner or later we will reap what we sow. Father Dave www.fatherdave.org Posted by Father Dave, Wednesday, 2 October 2013 5:03:29 PM

Aye brother ain't that a fact. What do you think the long term effects would be of (trans)planting the religious divisions of Lebanon and Syria into suburban OZ? Posted by SPQR, Wednesday, 2 October 2013 5:39:46 PM
