I much prefer the understanding of death and dying, how to treat the corpse with loving attention, and how to settle ones affairs with ones parents etc as portrayed in the 2008 Japanese film Departure - a real gem.
Also from a slightly different more inclusive perspective the 2006 Swedish film As It Is In Heaven - an even better gem of a film.

This article is excellent. Compared with the duplicitous, truth-evading submissions from the Singer it shines like the sun.

Thanks, OLO. You do present a variety of views but gems like this one, sadly, are all too rare!
