I wonder how many of the respondents on this topic are women? It seems that the discussion has been monopolized by men. This is hardly fair.

I would never have had an abortion. But, I would never look unfavorably on a girl/woman who does. This is her decision (and the husband's if married). No-one should impose their 'conscience' on others.

Unless anti-abortionists are each, and every one, prepared to financially, emotionally, and in every other practical way - perhaps even taking them into their home - support each woman (who otherwise would abort) until the child reaches adulthood, then they are not in a position to even suggest to women what they should do.

It is very easy to promulgate something, then walk away smug and self-satisfied. The reality of their decision is quite different for both women who have their babies, and for women who decide to abort.
