Plato rules – OK? : Comments

By Peter McCloy, published 27/6/2011

Plato suggested that a truly civilised society would identify ‘the best people’ and put them in charge of things. These ‘guardians’ would bring about good government: have they done so on the carbon tax?

Peter needs reality check. We are not even ruled by a democratic Govt.It is called an Oligarchy Peter, where the rich corporates dictate policy. They want carbon taxes to finance the UN and their World Govt called the NEW WORLD ORDER.

Gillard has already pledged 10% of our Carbon taxes to the UN which we as individuals will have no say.52% of us no longer the believe the Global Warming rubbish since the evidence is to the contrary.Swine FLu,Pigs flew,Y2K went and in the 70's is was global cooling due to CO2.

in the constitution[66]...""...the salaries...for minesters of state..shall not exceed..12,000 pounds''

at decimalisation
this would have become 12,000 dollars
but we didnt want to pay the monkeys peanuts[and jonny/howhard decided..he needed a 'special trust fund'..for pensions]

thing is all pensions
should be the same rate
[regardless of your life/position]

thing is we are being shafted...
all-round by in the main ex-lawyers
too clever..at their spin by/half

""This is great propaganda.

By claiming
that criticism is ad hominem
you can avoid*..discussion of the idea.""

this seems a law
when in reality it reveals a flaw

a way to..*not be held to account
by holding only 'others'..to account
[show me your modeling..while i give you my spin]

""By making the claim in advance,
if criticism arises..you can say ‘Told you so!’

It shifts attention
away from the idea."""

EGSACTLY

""Julia Gillard is a great guardian.""

no she is a great servant..*of the 'other' big business
only picking on the ones..*she personally hates

""She knows exactly what we need.""

she is clever..but not all-knowing
she is cowtowing..to her masters...
while abusing..'her'..people

""Never mind that she promised she wouldn’t do it,""

YES WE CERTAINLY GOT
"THE REAL JU-LIAR"..eventually

""she knows*we need it,""

just as arjay said
her MASTERS need the cash burden...cast upon us
not them...

they must be 'baled' out

""so she’ll bravely soldier on,
and she won’t apologise for that.""

facilitating officially her abuse
creating..*ODIOUS DEBT*...[that is criminal..
ie a crime..official malfeasance*]

SHE THINKS...""You’re either for her or against her.""

yes she still is such a baby...
thinking her own debait..isnt mass-terbaiting'

""It’s no use saying...""
anything to a closed mind
[..ask tim]

""What do Julia and Kate and Elisabeth want?
A carbon tax!
When do they want it? Now!"""

who do they want it for?
who are these 1000..ALONE who will pay?
is it the best thing to be doing?

[ie fixing up
the WRONG problem...
with the WRONG solution..at the wrong time]

but worse...*serving the wrong people*
listening to..the worst people
lie by statistic/spin and modeling

It's not for nothing that Clive Hamilton - would-be Guardian par excellence - described the Greens as the party of Plato.

Anyone with a knowledge of 20th century history would recognise the type of society advocated by Plato as a very modern reality: Fascism.

Two quotes that may be relevant.

1) "One of the penalities for refusing
to participate in politics is that you end up being
governed by your inferiors."
(Plato).

2) "The best argument against a democracy
is a 5 minute conversation with the average voter."
(Winston Churchill).

Before you can achieve consensus about what is to be done, there needs to be agreement as to whether anything needs to be done at all. The best hope for consensus on how to deal with 'global warming' is to treat it like any other religion: make it voluntary, and allow the believers to fund any initiatives out of their own pockets.

I have no objection to Cate and Tim coughing up a few millions to build useless wind turbines in Bob Brown's electorate; it's the part where they want me to chip in as well that I object to.

Carbon CATE - AUSTRALIA'S own ASTROPIXIE

I have but two comments:

1. Confucianism appears similar to Platoism in that Confucians justify their right to govern as coming from their rote learning, which automatically means wisdom, automatically attracting the Mandate of Heaven. This sums up Kevy Rudd's learned dictatorship - and God help those working for him in DFAT.

2. When Carbon Cate appeared in her adds she'd was very otherworldly, even odd and anorexic. Hence http://econews.com.au/news-to-sustain-our-world/blanchett-caton-come-out-in-support-of-carbon-tax/

For some unknown reason she had decided to maintain her Lord of the Rings Galadriellian persona http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXxFuhWaOhk

My contribution to the English language, this day, you saw it here first, is that Carbon Cate currently looks like an ASTRO-PIXIE.

To all who are decapitalised and dehyphenated dear Cate is at least Australia's award winning:

Astropixie
