Dear Paul,

The "Reclaim St Kilda" rally was organised by the
United Patriots Front leaders Blair Cottrell and
Neil Erikson and as we know - attended by federal
senator Fraser Anning. This is the latest headline
grabbing protest in a series of demonstrations by
this group in the state. In Federation Square
in 2015, and protests against building Bendigo's
mosque later that year. Then in early 2016 this
group changed their main message and began targeting
African crime with gangs as their focus.

While the group has relatively low support and are
in reality quite insignificant when it comes to impacting
policy, various political statements, some media
reporting, and the extreme tactics used by the group
helps explain the air-space they receive.

Blair Cottrell and Neil Erikson were convicted and fined
by magistrates in 2017 for inciting contempt and
ridicule of Muslims by making a video in which they
beheaded a dummy with a toy sword to protest against the
building of the Bendigo mosque.

Of course it is understandable for Fraser Anning to fly
out in support. He needs the publicity and the controversy
to get re-elected. This rally provided him with just that.
St Kilda has a large Jewish population. Anning after his
last speech in Parliament on the "Final Solution," would
have received the attention this time that he so desperately
needs.

u can guareentee that their are more anti semites among the anitfa thugs than the handful among these 'right' wing groups. One would of thought the protest was against failed immigration policies where some africans create havic bashing innocent victims, breaking into homes etc. Sort of like the Lebanese rapist who treated white women as fair game in Sydney. As usual the dishonest regressive green media puts their perverted slant on things. Truth is the loser.

there has to be a place for older Queenslander,s and other bigots to meet
And it seems it is here
Be happy
Even at its long past best one motion was never going any place
