By Gary Johns, published 5/10/2017

Both Labor and the Liberal National Party will pitch for a majority government. But one group of voters may have other ideas.

Majority government is a thing of the past, but still expected in behind-the-times Australia. People just don't trust the traditional parties any more. And, frankly, if you are still voting Labor or Liberal, or National, you are a bit of a drone.

Labor or LNP, it won't make much difference to Queensland. The same applies in South Australia, where Labor must surely go after 16 incompetent years; but the Opposition Liberals are so inept and lack-lustre that South Australians will still have a government they deserve – an awful one.

My prayer is one that Gary Johns could give an exhausted electorate some hope of a reprieve from the looming horror of another federal Labor Government!

Well I for one will vote be voting for One Nation.
(Although I think they have to get rid of Malcolm Roberts)
One big issue will be the Townsville Power Station.
Labor in QLD has to go, they seem to survive from kickbacks and dirty deals with Casino industry.

Yes Gary, it's a foregone conclusion, the LNP will coast to victory on one nation preferences, then be held hostage to one nation demands right through to the next election.

With one of those demands being a coal fired power station up north!

And the LNP won't be able to say no, nor the surge in power prices we'll need to pay for it?

Ain't that the plane truth?

You may as well admit it, the LNP already own the votes of queenslanders?

Besides, all that matters is winning, even if you have to sell your soul to the devil or make any shady back room deal?

Me? None of the above thankyou?

Alan B predicts good news for Queensland, and a sensible, coal-powered power station, no less! Here's hoping.
