We know of people where religion was beaten into them with
a leather strap or in my case - a cane in school. Where you
had to recite the Catechism exactly as written and were not
allowed to question anything. Many of these people today -
no longer trust the church they grew up in. And who can blame
them?

I have attended Mass over 3,000 times, in many countries and in four different languages that I understood very well and never once did I hear hatred preached.
You frequently bring up the subject but never give any instances.

It is not so much replacing as returning.
Returning to truth which predates any religion.
The natural world got along very well before man evolved?

Religion developed as a way to control the masses.
It is a kind of catalyst.
Those who devised it were clever, and meant well.
Nowadays, they don't mind that it pays well too.

It helps in life to understand what you are.
It helps also to understand what it means to live in a democracy.
It helps to compare our lot with those who live under a religious dictatorship.
Anyone want a one-way ticket to any of those 'hot-spots'?
