If Australia is intent on sending those born in a place like NZ but who have lived in Australia from the age of 2 onwards back to their country of birth for gang involvement then they should be prepared to take back Australian born Australian citizens full stop.

There’s a difference, the NZers didn’t leave NZ of their own choice and didn’t break NZ law by doing so.
The Islamists broke Aust. law, were terrorists or active supporters of terrorists and are likely to remains so.
