The International Swimming Federation has decided that biological males will no longer be allowed to compete in women's swimming events unless they have finished their gender transformation by the age of 12 years.

However, it is said that biological males still have advantages over females regardless of hormone treatment before puberty. So, there might be more to come. (Spectator, 20/6/22)

Logic where there isn't any !

If you look at swimming as a sport, winning and losing is about milliseconds.
Any minor advantage or deviation completely undermines swimming as a viable competitive sport.
It's good that common sense has prevailed here.
Who cares what the trans people think about it.

Right. It's not logic, but a mob of people who have been forced to act because of public opinion. Had not public outrage and insistence on what is obviously right and proper been kept up, the people responsible for swimming would have continued slithering along in their fear of a few loud-mouthed lunatics.

Nobody could be more disinterested in sport than I am, but I hope that all sporting bodies act on this stupid, unnatural nonsense.

One point not mentioned is that 12 yr old boys will normally always
have it all over 12 yr old girls.

This decision may just force other sports to take a
look at their policies regarding transgender athletes
participation with females in sport.

Medical experts have made it clear - "Listen to the
science." Especially if the
athletes have under gone puberty. It's pointed out
that:

"Some of the advantages males acquire in puberty are
structural and are not lost with hormone suppression.
These include larger lungs and hands, longer bones,
bigger feet and hands."

Biology trumps gender.

FINA’s trans ban is gaining momentum across other sports, as other sporting organisations or leading sporting figures, like Martina Navratilova, speak out in favour of such bans.

Where are the Greens?
They favour trans gender persons being able to take part in the womens’ events, even if they only think that they are women, no surgery required.

Another example of common sense has been the US Supreme Court's overturning of the Constitutional right to abortion, 6-3. It is now back in the hands of the states. Had the Democrats not taken an extreme position, including 'up to birth' and allow successfully delivered babies to die, things might have been allowed to go on the way they were; but, now, all over the West including Australian, the Left is becoming more extreme, shrill and ridiculous, and normal people are getting sick enough of them to want change.

Believe it or not, abortion at birth is real; it involves:

The reason it's easy to confuse sex and gender is because they are not distinct. Gender is "society's expectations" to do with sex.

Female means the offpsring-bearing sex. Women don't have babies as a matter of gender, they have them as a matter of sex. Everything that categorically, logically, or probably follows from women's *unequal* biomass interest in children is a matter of sex. To that extent, whether or not is is also a matter of gender is irrelevant.

The woke brigade only display confusion in babbling on about gender AS IF it means that the difference between male and female is nothing but an a social construct and imaginary fiction.

The idea that a man, with a beard, penis and testicles is or can be a woman based on nothing but his own subjective preferences is mere mental illness - even if he mutilates his own genitals by surgery, and wears lipstick.

The woke brigade cannot be as stupid as they're pretending to be.
