Only Trump and Ford (Ford was unelected) had lower ratings at this point than Biden with GW Bush at about 50% for the first 4 years.

Biden's problems as I alluded to above are not likely to go away and Biden instead of trying to deal with them is pretending that they are either inconsequential or temporary.

Secondly, if (or when) Biden loses both houses the Republicans are smarting from the abuses of the process by the Democrats and are eager to administer the same medicine to Biden as was given to Trump.

The damage done by 2024 may well make the election of a Dem president nearly impossible.

There are reports of Hilary Clinton running again if Democrats fail the midterm. Though many of the standing Democrats will not survive the next election. Biden is becoming more incoherent in his speech as each day passes. Harris rates as the worst Vice President in American History, even Democrat Members are sppeaking out against them.

1. the Afghanistan disaster - precipitated by Trumps' deal with the Taliban and his release of so many Taliban activists.
2. the broken promise to wipe out covid - every leader has claimed they wanted to or would wipe out covid, or that it wasn't a big deal, or that it would just go away. See 4 year's of Trump's statements and inaction. No-one has achieved this, so it's not specific to Biden.
3. the border crisis - well, if Trump's Wall had ever been built...
4. the rampant inflation and the surge in energy prices - not specific to the USA and not under Biden and Harris's control.

All the problems Biden faces are either world-wide or were inherited from and/or aggravated Trump. And Biden has it far worse because of the blockage of any rational action by the Republicans in the Congress/Senate

1 Afghanistan, With the full knowledge of what Trump did 1 year prior, this was still a cock up of monumental proportions that Biden tried to ignore. This will not be forgotten.

2 He didn't say he wanted to, he said he would wipe out the covid many many times. It is now worse than under Trump.

3 The numbers coming over the border has doubled or tripled and all the things Trump was criticised for have worsened. This is a huge stuff up.

4 The rampant inflation occurred under Biden's watch and can be fixed by cutting spending and or raising rates. Biden is trying to spend $trillions more and does bugger all about interest rates.

5 The oil and gas price rises are partially due to the restrictions on fracking and the cancellation of the pipeline doesn't help either.

All the excuses you are making carry little water with the voters. The can stops with Biden
