The NSW Premier has promised 'a brighter 2022' (SkyNews). How godlike! Given the politicians' dubious, confusing, and often wrong performance and guesses during the last two years, no politician can have a clue about what will happen in 2022, let alone make promises. Getting away with removing, then gradually granting us 'freedoms' has gone to the man's head.

Pseudo conservatives I think, individual.

Living with the virus has turned out to mean long lines, a blowout in waiting times, shelves empty of rapid antigen tests, communication failures and repeated errors.

And one of the political nincompoops responsible 'promises' a better year in 2022!

"We're running a completely different race but we're still trying to follow the old rules", says The Minority's ABC.

Apparently the virus has to be widespread for the pandemic phase to go to an endemic phase. We've heard that before, so why not let 'er rip, and stop listening to stupid politicians and their stupid promises

The conservative Priemer of NSW has promised a "terrible 2022". That should satisfy our doom and gloom merchant's. Like the fool before him this bloke is also a clown.

We in NSW await the seeping truth of the new premier clown of NSW.
One thing is certain, there’ll be no justice for crime committed, as we watch with interest the contortions of the Eddie Obeid trials: He has the ability to slip in and out of prison with the same ease as a sewer rat.

We’ve lately observed his progeny popping up in all the potentially lucrative undeveloped areas of the East Coast, including dodgy deals with Aboriginal communities who were given plots of expensive and highly desirable land on the sea front by the same politicians now scorching deals for themselves, cashing in the IOU’s from the previous free gifts.

Not sure about "political arrogance" if a state
premier tries to give people hope as they ring in
a new year. It sounds like a wise move to me.

According to the IPSOS Global Advisor Survey conducted
across 33 countries revealed that 8 out of 10 (82%)
of Australians believe that 2022 will be a better year
than 2021.

And heaven knows we need some positivity.

What kind of a dim-witted Premier would paint a doom and
gloom picture prior to ringing in a new year? It would
be political suicide. And make his constituents miserable.
They have enough on their plates as it is.

The NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet is doing his best to
keep people positive - and none of us should blame him
for doing his job.
