Australia's emissions as a % of the world have dropped in the last 10 years from 1.4% to 1.16%. So although Australia is dropping its emissions (more than the vast majority of the world). Most countries are increasing them.

So if these juvenile ignoramuses wanted to have any real effect they would hold these protests outside the Chinese and Indian embassies.

According to an article in The Conversation -
we're told that our emissions are
approx. - 1.3%
of the global total. But our population is 0.3% of
the global total.

The article argues that -

If rich countries like Australia are not doing more
to reduce their disproportionately high emissions,
what possible incentive is there for developing countries
to take the issue seriously. Countries like India,
Brazil, and China can well ask - why should they reduce
emissions when Australia does so little. This is an
argument often used by Alan Jones. It is a simplistic
one. And can be better explained from a different
perspective.

In this sense Australia's position on climate change is
significant not only for the percentage of greenhouse
gases it produces but for the personal influence on
global policy.

As a nation proud of "punching above its weight" in
the fields of sport and technology we are missing a big
chance to show global leadership on climate.

So these dimwitted children living with their mobile 5G phones in air conditioned classrooms brainwashed by leftist teachers ignorantly remove any possibility that children in the third world have of a chance of a better life under Western freedom values, but allow Communist China to give them the substance they desire produced by our coal and iron ore in Chinese sweat shops.

The Climate Propaganda mixed with Covid is a Chinese attempt to weaken the Western world and introduce dependency on Government - ultimately introducing Communist ideology.

The World Organizations want 'One World Government' and China is posing as the front runner. There will be no such thing as private ownership and freedom of speech, just ask any Chinese what they think of their Governments human rights - they are silent or praise it.

Climate scaremongering if a ploy to control the next generation, by promoting irrational fears, it happens in every teenage generation - in my day it was the fear of a Nuclear war, "No More Nuclear Bombs"; as we were told there are enough nuclear Bombs to destroy the World population.

So what you and these other nutcrackers are saying, is that we need to punish ourselves harshly so that India, Brazil and China feel 'compelled' to do more.

That if we don't turn off the lights and shoot ourselves in the foot.
China Brazil and India won't change.

Honestly I really don't give a crap about the ways in which foreign countries generate power.
I'm happy to keep exporting coal wherever its profitable, so long and it creates AUSSIE JOBS and puts AUSSIE MEALS on AUSSIE TABLES.

I bloody hate gang mentality.
My mum used to ask me if other jumped off the cliff would you?
(I'd say yes)
I got into so much trouble as a kid, are any of you surprised.
But you're doing the exact same thing she warned me about, peer pressure.

On 18 May, before the protest, that far lfty rag, the Sunraysia Daily, Mildura, provided two of the organisers of the Mildura school protest the opportunity to answer the criticism and trolling the protest had received. Unfortunately, the newspaper is behind a paywall, but the students' comments were intelligent and balanced - it is well worth a read. To mention just two points: 1. The protest march was at lunch-time so the students were not endangering their education. 2.

(Cont.) 2. These two protest organisers were top achievers in terms of the courses undertaken and their results.

I wonder if the negative slurs in the comments here about the protesting school students are due to fear that just maybe the students actively involved are the smartest of their generation and are the ones who will go on to be future leaders. That maybe these future leaders will think differently from oldies today - even if, especially if, they are not left-wingers.
