Unfortunately, the newspaper is behind a paywall, but the students' comments were intelligent and balanced - it is well worth a read. To mention just two points: 1. The protest march was at lunch-time so the students were not endangering their education. 2.

I wonder if the negative slurs in the comments here about the protesting school students are due to fear that just maybe the students actively involved are the smartest of their generation and are the ones who will go on to be future leaders. That maybe these future leaders will think differently from oldies today - even if, especially if, they are not left-wingers.
