No registered mainstream political party in Australia has a platform or policy that advocates violence towards women or minorities. Unfortunately some leaders like Pauline Hanson incite violence towards minorities through bigoted hate speech, claiming "free speech" as a defence for their words of bile. To me that is totally unacceptable, just as it was for Trump to incite violence on Jan 6th in the way he did.
A person like SM would not give a rats about people "not like him", in fact he would view transvestites and others in a minority with a liberal degree of distain. I've always taken the attitude; I'll take you for who you are, and not for what you are. Having been a member of the inner city branch of the Greens in Sydney I met many folk who some on her would think to be disgusting people, not worthy of their consideration. Well, when you meet these "disgusting" folks and lose the stereotyping you soon find they are not all that different to you, they have the same set of emotions as you, and in some cases they become your friend.
