Many of us predicted the scenario playing out since but the Leftist media & Leftists in general always did their utmost to ridicule those with foresight ! A very large number of them are the anti-National Service crowd ! Now they're starting to get scared !

A radio report said that when the PNG PM was asked about the Daru
development and said he did not know about it.
Possibly correct, it could be a repeat of the seizure of Philippine
Islands in the South China Sea.
Could sometime in the distant past a Chinese ship have landed on
Daru and claimed it for its Emperor ?
Considering its position in Torres Strait it does have military relevance.
I cannot see any other interest that China would have in Daru.

Australia should ask the PNG Army to establish a joint base on Daru.
