There's no doubt that the political class is now sure that it can do what it likes with us. They treat Australia citizens as if we are actually Chinese citizens, and they are the CCP, telling us what we can and can't do; but, for the sake of the mighty dollar, they open the borders to fee-paying Chinese students and Australia whiners who have preferred foreign climes to their own country, but who now want to scuttle back because they are frightened of what is happening in countries they chose to live in rather than their own.

In the Australian today (I think it was in Judith Sloan's article), the number of Chinese students was recorded as 100,000 since 2007, or about six thousand new students each year.
