The science of climate change caused by human activity Hasbeen, has been established beyond doubt by science. The fact this Forum has a small group of Old Methane (emitters), you included Hassy, who want to argue the toss well after the facts have been firmly established is neither here nor there. Therefore along with the flat earthers, the climate conspiracy nuts, and the general fruitcakes who deny climate change should not be listened to!

Unfortunately in Australia we have a number of political nut jobs in the LNP government preventing us from doing our part by setting zero emission targets by 2050. These nutters who reside in the extreme recesses of the National and Liberal parties are refusing to face the reality that our major trading partners are setting zero targets themselves, which will adversely impact our fossil fuel industries in the years to come, particularly the coal industry, even if we were to do nothing. The same political nutters are running around giving false hope to those in the industries, such as coal mining and power generation, they make false claims that their jobs, and the industry in general, will be secure and that they have a bright future, nothing could be further from the truth. The time to redirect and redeploy those in the failing fossil fuel industries to secure a future for workers and their families displaced by change is now, not in 30 years time.

I'd like to see an article that says there's no Climate change. I'd also like to see an article that says there was no Climate change before humans came onto the scene !

Much more important than articles on lies about climate change and necessary carbon dioxide (now misconstrued as 'carbon') is the news that convicted terrorist Abdul Nacer Benbrika has been stripped of his Australian citizenship by the man who should have been our Prime Minister, Peter Dutton.

I'm not sure if zero emissions by 2050 is realistically
achievable but I think that our government is doing
the best that it can to comply with the Paris agreement.
I remember Joel Fitzgibbons giving an interview on the
topic some time ago - and what he said made a lot of sense.
We can meet halfway on this issue - of that I'm sure. And
we certainly need to have this debate and do what's best
for the country.

It should not be a matter of either one way or the other.
We can meet half way. It would be a start and see how we go.

Foxy,

It's now too late to take the action needed to turn back the clock on adverse human induced climate change.

And people who tell you that humans are not the cause of this climate change are speaking like that simply because they are dummies.

Soot and Dazza's gal are in that mob.

And that's another one of the reasons I call those two the epitome of evil.

"I think that our government is doing the best that it can to comply with the Paris agreement" Foxy.

Yes & that is why we should chuck them out, just after we chuck out that dill you have as your premier.
